Brilliant shower with heater. Homely and welcoming guesthouse. Tasty and reasonably priced Sambal Malaysian cuisine restaurant nearby. Easy to get to from Macquarie uni. Nice, quiet and safe neighborhood with good public transport links.

I had a really comfortable stay at North Ryde Guesthouse. The room was clean and cozy, and the beds were super comfy. I also appreciated the toiletries provided in the ensuite bathroom.
